Podere Santa Lucia was founded in 2005 by Alfonso Balducci and Pietro Cacciani, following their desire to recover the ancient art of winemaking typical of their home lands, that had previously been a passion for their parents and that they themselves decided to resume after a few years of interruption. Their vision is to provide enthusiasts and wine novices only quality products.
The ideal climate, the excellent sun exposure and the soil features make the territory of Santa Lucia in Monte San Vito (An) one of the privileged areas for growing grapes and producing wine, specially the Lacrima di Morro d’Alba doc.
Coming to the Farm will make you try a new experience: the art of food and wine. For this reason the logo of the Farm has been inspired by The Santa Lucia Altarpiece, one of the most important works of art belonging to our area, an extraordinary piece of virtuosity of shapes and colors. |
