 Vineyards


The area cultivated with vineyards covers nine hectares.  A first vineyard of four hectares facing south is made up of red grapes Lacrima di Morro d'Alba that give birth to the Lacrima di Morro d'Alba Doc, Lacrima di Morro d'Alba Doc "Vigna delle Cantarelle" and the Marche Rosè.  An adjacent vineyard of one hectare is then cultivated with Merlot, Cabernet and Petit Verdot to produce an IGT Marche Red.
 A new vineyard of about four hectares, facing north, was created in 2009 to host Lacrima di Morro d'Alba , Verdicchio and Intersection Bruni.

In this new vineyard we have decided to reproduce, in addition to the most popular grape varieties typical of the area, an old vine: the intersection Bruni. A typical grape of the province of Ancona that was destined to disappear completely due to the lost interest caused perhaps by its low productivity. For the Podere Santa Lucia this vine is a heritage to be preserved worth of high regard since it represents a high quality product, typical of our territory.

The implant is made of 3 ha. black Lacrima and 1ha. shared merlot, cabernet and petit verdot.

The grapes are bred with a 2.50 x 0.80. spurred cordon.

The productivity is about 90 quintals per hectare

The implant is made of 2 ha. black lacrima and 1ha. verdicchio, and 1 ha intersection Bruni.

The plants are bred with a 2.70 x 1,00. spurred cordon.
